The BXL TOUR returns on Sunday, June 16, 2024, for its 8th edition. Explore Brussels' iconic neighborhoods during this unmissable cycling race, all in a festive atmosphere. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a passionate amateur, the BXL TOUR offers courses suitable for all levels.
We'll detail them here:
Master: Reserved for cyclists affiliated with a recognized cycling federation, this 40km course requires a minimum average speed of 40km/h and a minimum age of 19.
Cycling: This 40km route is open to riders aged 12 and over and is divided into four subcategories based on average speed:
- 9:10 a.m.: CYCLING +35km start
- 9:20 a.m.: CYCLING 30-35km/h start
- 9:30 a.m.: CYCLING 25-30km/h start
- 9:40 a.m.: CYCLING 20-25km/h start
Riding: If you own an electric bike, this is the category for you. The route is 32km long and requires a speed of 16km/h. The minimum age is 12 years old.
Paracycling: This category is for handbikes, tricycles, and tandems and is reserved for people with reduced mobility. Participation requires a UCI license. The route is 40km long and has a minimum average speed of 25km/h.

Regarding the race route, the start will be at Place des Palais, accessible via Brussels Park. Then, race through the capital's iconic streets before concluding the race at the Atomium.
